Job Description:
 
  • Installing network devices such as routers, switches, security devices, wireless devices at customer premises, as per the network solution design
  • Operating the network, as per the professional service agreement with customer
  • Configuring network devices mentioned above, as per the network solution design
  • Monitoring the network devices mentioned for detecting and correcting errors
  • Attending to customer’s support call in a timely and effective manner
  • Troubleshooting customer’s network device faults, configuration errors  and other issues  in a timely and effective manner
  • Optimizing the overall network solution for peak performance
  • Interacting with Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC), as required, to resolve customer support calls
  • Providing support to Systems Engineer in setting up customer demonstrations and lab

Additional skills:

  • Positive attitude, high energy and dynamic personality, driven to achieve and exceed targets
  • Empathy towards customers, colleagues and other stakeholders
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with working knowledge of Hindi. Additional working knowledge of any one South Indian language desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Graduation
  • 2+ years of network support
  • CCNA Routing & Switching Certification (V2.0 or above course desirable)

Note: The position-holder will be required to undergo the “Cisco Foundation Support Specialist” training program and examination at company expense.  Features of this training are:

  • Understanding  customer’s challenges and opportunities
  • Analyzing Cisco product and services, its key functionalities and its  business benefits
  • Analyzing different scenarios to position Cisco product and services with the customer
