Job Description:
  • Interacting with all key IT and networking infrastructure decision makers in customer organizations.
  • Maintaining excellent customer relationships; getting insight into their real issues, solving them and becoming their trusted partner and advisor
  • Gaining deep knowledge  in customer's business and buying patterns
  • Creating a pipeline of sales opportunities from customer contacts and market analysis.
  • Deriving accurate forecasts from the sales pipeline, and exceeding sales targets
  • Analyzing customer business needs and translating them into infrastructure solutions working closely with the Systems Engineer
  • Managing proposal building, pricing, quotes, invoicing, collections and distributor interactions with support from commercial officer, as required
  • Producing reports on sales, pipeline, conversion rates,  and strategy recommendations
  • Making decisions on best use of time, money and resources in sales engagements
  • Developing creative ways to grow the business in new markets, segments, geographies and verticals
  • Covering geography of South India including Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities/towns
  • Managing crises effectively; staying strong and level headed,  while focusing on the solutions

  • Good understanding of networking concepts desirable
  • Familiarity with Cisco partner back-end commercial processes desirable
  • Fluency in spoken and written English with working knowledge of Hindi. Additional working knowledge of any one South Indian language desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma / Graduation, with additional management qualification desirable
  • 3+ years of sales experience selling IT or Networking related products or solutions

 

Note: The position-holder will be required to undergo the “Cisco Sales Specialist” training program and examination at company expense. Features of this training are:

  • Develop network preparation, planning skills and best practices for customer sales
  • Understanding of the value of IP networks for business
  • Understanding network architectures featuring Cisco routing and switching offerings
  • Basic steps required to incorporate wireless and security technologies into the IP Network.
